The Terengganu State-level Youth Hub Program (Y-Hub Terengganu), taking place throughout November, encompasses five main frameworks of youth development activities, covering character building, technology, culture, and entrepreneurship.<\/i><\/b><\/center><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

As part of its ongoing commitment to enhance local youth development, the Ministry of Youth and Sports (KBS), through the Terengganu State Department of Youth and Sports (JBSNT), has taken proactive steps by organizing the Youth Hub Terengganu (Y-Hub Terengganu), scheduled to run throughout November.\u2028<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to JBSNT Director Asmadi Mohamad, the program is structured around five key frameworks designed to close gaps among youth in the state, encouraging participation either partially or fully across the initiatives. Importantly, all programs are offered free of charge to ensure accessibility for every young person.\u2028

The program content spans entrepreneurship workshops, artificial intelligence (AI) technology, TVET skills, cultural activities, as well as personal development and motivational sessions. These elements provide added value for local youth, equipping them with the right foundation to take the next step toward becoming a more competitive generation in the future.\u2028<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAs the primary stakeholders in local youth development, we do not view this initiative merely as a way to fill leisure time. We carry a mission and responsibility to strengthen Malaysia\u2019s Youth Index, which remains at a moderate level,\u201d said Asmadi Mohamad.\u2028

He further noted that the Malaysian Youth Index (IBM) recorded a score of 74.39 in 2023, categorized as moderate. The 2024 results are expected to be announced soon. The index, prepared by the Malaysian Institute for Youth Development Research, serves as a benchmark to monitor the quality and well-being of Malaysian youth.\u2028<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Engagement with other supporting agencies adds value to the organization of the Terengganu State-level Youth Hub (Y-Hub Terengganu), ensuring that information is delivered accurately to the target group, namely the youth themselves.<\/i><\/b><\/center><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The collaboration between the Terengganu State Department of Youth and Sports and other local youth organizations adds value to the organization of the Terengganu State-level Youth Hub (Y-Hub Terengganu), which is taking place throughout November.<\/i><\/b><\/center><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Through Y-Hub Terengganu, JBSNT is optimistic about contributing positively to future assessments of the index. The program also reflects JBSNT\u2019s open-door policy, encouraging youth and stakeholders to maximize the use of facilities and resources available at the department.\u2028

Since its launch in early November, Y-Hub Terengganu has successfully attracted 787 participants, with numbers expected to rise further during the upcoming year-end school holidays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
